Preserving a seed variety takes more than putting it in storage. Seeds must be grown, harvested, cleaned, tested, and shared. The work continues from one growing season to the next.

An endowment is a fund invested to provide ongoing support. Distributions under the fund’s spending policy help support Seed Savers Exchange while the remaining assets stay invested for the future.
