50th-Anniversary Merchandise

Did you hear? Seed Savers Exchange turns 50 in 2025, and we have a selection of merchandise to celebrate that milestone event, including T-shirts, a specially handcrafted mug, and a seed collection featuring some of SSE’s most storied varieties.

SEEDS (including 16 new varieties!)

Every gardener has those favorite varieties that they love to grow year after year. Still, as the saying goes, variety is the spice of life, so why not introduce your favorite gardener to some (or all!) of the 16 new varieties Seed Savers Exchange is thrilled to offer for the 2025 gardening season? 

Our seven new “From the Collection” varieties comprise five (yes, five!) delicious lettuces, including the delicious ‘Kovaks Family Heirloom’ crisphead lettuce,  as well as a delicious and productive plum tomato (hello, ‘Willie’s Garden’!), and the versatile ‘Zucchetta Rampicante’ that can be eaten as a summer and winter squash. 

We have also added nine other new varieties to our selection of more than 600 open-pollinated, non-GMO seeds. Flower lovers will adore the new ‘Chater’s Double Mix’ and ‘Fig’ hollyhocks. The ‘Big Max Pumpkin’ squash wows in the garden with its massive size and also has delicious flesh perfect for pies. The ‘Luffa’ gourd is truly multipurpose, while the ‘Carolina Broadleaf’ mustard produces large, beautiful leaves that taste delightfully spicy. SSE MEMBERSHIP
