Conference Accessibility

50th-anniversary conference and celebration accessibility information

We are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible event environment for all attendees. We strive to provide an event that is welcoming, accommodating, and supportive of diverse accessibility needs. Watch this space as more information will be added as it becomes available. If you have questions, please feel free to contact [email protected].

Mobility & Accessibility

The Lillian Goldman Visitor’s Center is completely accessible and air-conditioned. However, much of the farm grounds are uneven. It is not steep or treacherous but covered in wood chips or grass and not paved.

Many workshops will take place on the lower campus, but some will utilize the upper campus.  There is a very steep walking path between the two campuses. We hope to have ATVs available to help with this transport. Guests can also drive to and park at both the lower and upper campuses.

Restrooms

Gender-neutral restrooms can be found in the farmhouse and the seed house.  Port-a-potties will also be available.

Space for Chest feeding and Breastfeeding

There are bedrooms upstairs in the farmhouse available.  Please speak with the organizers if you need this space.

Low Sensory Space

The farmhouse’s ground floor will be used as a low sensory and quiet space.

Wifi & Phone Signal

Wifi is available on the lower campus for guests to use. However, both Wi-Fi and phone signals can be spotty. A limited number of charging stations will be available inside the Lillian Goldman Visitors Center.

Food

Food trucks will be on-site to purchase lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday.  A vegetarian option will be available. You are also welcome to bring your own food to the farm as needed, but outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

Weather & Heat

The weather can be unpredictable, but a cooling station will be set up in the lower barn. Canopies will also be placed around some of our workshop areas for shade. Please wear sun protection and bring a reusable water bottle. Water bottle fill stations will be available.
