We’re located in the northeast corner of Iowa, just outside the city of Decorah, Iowa.

Where to stay

Seed Savers Exchange has reserved a block of rooms at the Country Inn and Suites (563-382-9646) and Fairfield Inn (563-382-8800). Camping blocks have also been reserved and are available at the Pulpit Rock Campgrounds (563-382-9551). Spaces are limited we recommend calling early to reserve your room or campsite. Mention you are making the reservation for the Seed Savers Exchange 50th anniversary weekend.

Food & Beverages

Food trucks will be available to purchase meals throughout the weekend. Limited snacks are also available for purchase at the Lillian Goldman Visitors Center. Guests are welcome to bring coolers and outside food. Downtown Decorah has several restaurants and is about a 15-minute drive from Heritage Farm. Explore dining options at VisitDecorah.com

Outside alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. 

Parking at Heritage Farm

Seed Savers Exchange highly encourages carpooling. Parking will be available near the Administrative buildings and Goldman Orchard at Heritage Farm. Accessible parking is also available. Follow the signs upon arrival. 

Pets Policy 

While leashed pets are generally welcome on Heritage Farm, no pets are allowed during the conference. Service or assistive animals are allowed.

Smoking Policy

Seed Savers Exchange, Heritage Farm, is a non-smoking campus. Due to the tobacco mosaic virus, smoking is not allowed on the grounds outside of designated areas.
